Sailing with the Red Pirates – 13th April 2008
Went for a sailing trip with a group called the Red Pirates for five hours total I think we ended up doing. Click here for higher quality www.youtube.com Was a great day and being on a sail boat rather than a motor boat was awesome, now noise from a motor, just the wind and the sun. Although the wind did prevent us from sailing to the other side of the island we still had a great time. Hopefully if/when I go back there I will certainly go sailing with the Pirates again and hopefully the wind conditions will be just right. We had a BBQ also, which was simply delicious, these guys don’t just know how to sail well but they can cook a mean meal too. Cost of renting the boat was 500 peso per hour The BBQ cost us 1000 peso for chicken, pork, fish, rice, banana and mango for 5 people. Yeah they seem fairly limited where they can go, but they did seem well looked after too
very energetic he was too, never stopped moving
i didn’t expect or even think of the possibility he might try grab me, i just wanted to get a shot of me with the monkey behind me…got him to stand on my hand at one point but didn’t get it on camera
My vacation is over, I was away for a month, i’m just taking my time uploading the videos…might be awhile till the next one, will try to get it tomorrow, if not, won’t be till the 12th or 13th as i’m going away for work till the 12th
